the aesthetic perception of beauty, ugliness or the common and unusual.

dynamics and human behaviour. Her work is focused on the real, the

visceral and the sometimes comic.

Tim Faehnrich

Tim is a Glasgow based photographer who works both in

traditional analog and digital photography.

His work focuses on topics such as memory, identity and how

the environment and images we are constantly surrounded by

influence and construct these topics.

In his ‘urban landscapes’ the focus is not so much on people

but more one the spaces and structures in which people interact

with their environment. His photographs are almost devoid of

human presence but concentrate on the spaces and structures

surrounding us. Despite the fact that there are hardly any people

captured, their presence is implicit in the sense that we know

that all the spaces and structures shown are constructed and

show traces of human presence. This creates a tension between

presence and absence, structure and detail, public and private and

so on.

Viewers are invited to bring their own memories, values and ideas

to the images to resolve these tensions and to construct their own

story using the photographs as stage-set or backdrop.

Adriana Polito

Adriana Polito is a Scottish-Sicilian award-winning

independent writer, director and producer from Glasgow.

In 2009, aged 29, she had an epiphany in a jazz cafe in

Norway. It said “Start investing some real passion into

your dreams. Follow them, start now.”

Having always wanted to create a space where she could

make mistakes, learn, play and develop her work whilst

engaging with other talented artists in her community,

Stay Curious Productions was born.

Over time, Stay Curious emerged into a community-focused

artistic platform for collaborative story-telling.

Adriana believes that if you find something magical,

share it with your community. Support the artists and

institutions that touch your heart. Celebrate great ideas

and work with others to make them happen.

In the last 6 years, Adriana has worked on, and helped

develop, a total of 12 art projects; from theatre, to film

to community exhibitions. She has been part of two

award-winning short film teams.

As an independent creative practitioner, Adriana’s goals

are very simple: make art, share art, work with others,

encourage new talent, support your community

and, above all else, find joy in the journey.
